Suryoday Small Finance Bank has informed its customers that it will close its automatic teller machines (ATMs). The bank has said on its website that it will cease its ATM services from tomorrow, October 1.
“For operational reasons, Suryoday Bank’s ATMs will be shut down on October 1, 2021,” Suryoday Small Finance Bank said on its website.
However, it is possible to continue to use your Suryoday Bank ATM / Debit Card in any other ATM of the Bank for your cash withdrawal needs. The bank said that for other banking services, customers can use internet banking and mobile banking (24X7).
Last month, in his message to shareholders in the annual report, General Manager and CEO of Suryoday SFB Bhaskar Babu said the bank is looking to become a one-stop solutions bank using strategic collaborations. “Our main mission for the next 3 years will be to strengthen the financial strength of our inclusive finance clients by using digital channels, which are simple, easy to use and offer them holistic product options for wealth creation and superior user experience, ”Babu said.
Suryoday Small Finance Bank Limited is a regular commercial bank. Starting operations as NBFC, Suryoday started operations as SFB in 2017. The bank is present in 13 states and UTs across India through its 555 outlets, with a strong presence in Maharashtra, Tamilnadu and Odisha.
Suryoday SFB had reported a ??Loss of 48 crore in the quarter ended June 30, 2021 due to write-off, restructuring provision as well as impact on profits due to lower cash outflows due to second wave of Covid-19 . The bank had reported a net profit of ??27 crore in the quarter of last year.
